Photo-chromatic mean that the lenses get dark in direct sunlight. The frame is retro round with classic keyhole bridge. Keep in mind that these lenses don't get dark in your car (ie-through a windshild) unless you drive a convertible. Also, we are often asked if they get "really dark". Photochromatic lenses, even very expensive ones, do NOT get as dark as regular sunglasses. The lenses on these because light to medium tinted in direct sunlight. This is a great, great price on trendy style photo sensitive optical readers.
